I came into this thread to recommend Chip and Ironicus, only to find that they are your baseline! Because of this, there is some good news, and some bad news. He keeps talking over cut scenes to a minimum and isn't obnoxiously loud when he does. He has a tendency to be a bit corny though. He'll pause in some cases of character progression in to show what he did or why he did it (in case people playing along want to know), but doesn't show the process up to that point.Īs far as comedy goes, he'll make references to film/other media, and make quips about certain characters/dialogue/events. He cuts out the bullshit such as multiple random encounters (after showing a new monster and their moveset for the first time), leveling, character progression, etc. He's very informational about all the games he plays (he cites doing multiple complete test runs prior to a game, plus having notes in front of him as he plays). Well OP, I don't know how you feel about Japanese RPGs but a great LPer for those games HCBailly.
